SGR Custom Rifles was established in 1983. Prior to that, my father was in the gunsmithing business for 30 years and I learned the trade from him. When he passed away in 1983, I decided to go full time into the gun business. My father had established a reputation as a quality craftsman and that tradition deserved to be carried forward. There was a great demand for this quality, by our established customers, and an ever expanding network of new customers. Most of these came in via word of mouth advertising, which I still today believe to be the best advertising available. We are a small but well equipped full time shop in southwest Minnesota with two employees. We operate out of a 2880 square foot building on the edge of Westbrook, Minnesota.  Our specialty however, is building custom and bench rest guns for individuals demanding the highest degree of quality and accuracy.
